Your familiar friend for talking about posts is rolling out over the next few days, and it’s learned a ton since it’s been away. Now replies let you:
Reply multiple times to a post.
Reply to your own posts.
See all of a post’s replies in one place.
Decide who can and can’t reply to you. (It’s in your blog settings.)
All that adds up to being able to talk about a post, right inside of a post, even as it travels from Tumblr to Tumblr. So, starting with posts created today, you’ll see a new notes view to help you follow that conversation. Looook:
If you’ve been waiting for this, thanks for your patience. If you’re new to replies, come discover their unique flavor. Spicier than a like, sweeter than a reblog, served on a big family-style platter. All part of a balanced diet. Have fun replying, Tumblr.
Want more details? You can get the nitty-gritty on replies and notes over in our help docs.
I’m going to be alone on a bus for about 4 hours and am getting picked up by my boss’s…niece? Idk, some random family member I don’t know that only speaks Spanish, lol (I can manage though. I’ve been managing, lol)
I’m really grateful though because she’s going to show me around the city & I think she’s around my age. It should be fun!
Also…I’m actually returning to Texas next week. This development just came into fruition a few days ago & was finalized today. I go back Wednesday. It’s mostly due to school-related reasons (I have to take a prerequisite course before I go to UT). Honestly, though this cuts my trip short by about..oh, 3 months, lol, I’m happy about it. I’m excited (& also stressed) about getting everything together to move to Austin & start school & tbh though this has been a great experience, it’s been tough moving to a new country alone!
I must come back, though. There is so much of Colombia I have yet to see. At least I will be knocking Bogotá off the list tomorrow :D
